Isle of man TT legends including Bruce Anstey, Joey Dunlop and Ian Lougher are profiled and great 2-stroke machines including YZR500, TZ Yamaha, Suter MMX500, RS250 Honda are featured in this detailed look at 2-stroke racing on the Isle of Man. Beautiful Two-Stroke tribute. I raced 125 Honda from 1978 to 1990. Other years on 125 and 250 Yamahas. Nothing like a Two-Stroke topped out at max RPMs and more so before silencer regs came in the 70's. I was lucky to work on Baldwin and Ballington teams in the 80's. Your film is without distracting flash, music or sound effects. Just pure full chat two-stroke goodness🇮🇲. Well done, cheers from New Hampshire 🇺🇲👍

As usual Top ! great Anthony. The Tourist Trophy it is still, the purest and most crystalline form of Motorcycling today. Total passion. Reason can never take over passion... those who do not understand it are well advised to go to the island only for its view. :)

Well Done Anthony interesting video, the highlight for me was seeing the Arial Arrow how that took me back. The first bike I ever work on and got payed for doing it, a spotty faced apprentice at AE Reynolds Berry Streel Liverpool 1964

I would like to see the Suter out there again, the last one raced here was sold straight after competing at the TT I believe and I don’t know if we will see another one back here but there is still a good showing of two strokes at other race meetings on the island to keep us entertained!

All though they dint produce any bottom end horse power they had to really suited ti Mann because of the top end revv out...i still enjoy tje sound an the smell....nothing reminds u more or sounds like racing as does good ole physco powered 2 stroke...i just git rid of a TAG rotax go kart 125 so i am down in the dumps...any way u can pipe the smell thru the internet...please

It's such a shame that the 2T engine era ended in the same fashion that's now being pushed to stop the combustion engine overall being produced.

the sound of the bikes up close is one of the best things about road racing and I don’t feel the same excitement about the prospect of a field full of electric bikes

How on earth 2Ts are so beloved and get ridiculous prices on used market, and are not being re-introduced? I know emissions, but come on this is unreal they do not really polute ... emissions vs market interest and democracy 1-0

Sorry to hear of your illness, I wish you the best in being able to race your 125. Even if you don’t get into a race on that bike most racetracks have days motorcyclists can attend to have a blast on their machines. All the best with that
