Hi Jim, just wanted to say thanks for a review of Clause 4. I have an internal audit scheduled for Clauses 4, 5 & 6 and this helps in asking the right questions. Just got involved in ISO as an auditor last year, so still getting use to things. This audit will involve Management & Co-owner of the company, so I wanted make sure I was prepared. Much appreciated!

If an organization is implementing multiple ISO (9001, 14001, 45001), does it need multiple context or only one same context for those ISOs? thank you.

Hello, Randy - thanks for your question! The context is the same for all three - the internal and external conditions are the same, The differences are that some things are more important for the three Standards. For example, 'ready access to skilled labour' is more important for Quality than for EMS or OHS. Creating a 'Safety Culture' is more 'in focus' for OHS than Quality, but there will be overlaps. of course. So even though similar conditions or 'issues' exist for all three, the focus will be slightly different. There's a much more noticeable difference in 4.2, Interested Parties - regulatory bodies for EMS and OHS will outweigh them for Quality unless you're in Pharmaceuticals, Aerospace, Food, Aerospace and other highly regulated industries.
