@@jreis8394 Oman had a communist insurgency from 1963 to 1973 called the Dhofar rebellion. It would end up involving Iran, Britain (SAS), Jordan , China , Soviet union and south Yemen. A forgotten part in the Cold War.

Like Arabia should require you either directly control _or_ share a faction with the Majors in the region. So at the very least you only have to fight the Allies _or_ the Axis, not both.

I'm a US viewer and I have played OMAN many times. I used to have a few mods downloaded that let you "zoom in" to a region of the world, ex. Asia, Europe, Middle East, Americas, so that all other land would be empty and impassable and you could play a quick game on a region with a lot less lag. I've played just about every nation in these regions several times. My favorites were any of azerbiajan/georgia/Armenia or turkey, saudi Arabia, and Kuwait in the middle eastern map, but Oman is in fact playable

Tip to every hoi4 player: Get your "My ships don't lie" achievement before Paradox patches the naval production bug out. Show them the power of the Gran Colombian Navy! Also make Admiral Raeder proud with your Kriegsmarine half a million people strong. (I had over 800 ships by 1942)

Player lead peace conferences is the only mod that doesn't really break. I've been using the same one since Waking the Tiger and it will work until Paradox updates peace coferences, which won't be this year to say the least.

ISP, since NSB is somewhat recent and there arent a lot of specific focus tree mods, i think just a few mods that add decisions or improve the generic tree might help ease the pain and make things a bit interesting, there was the "wonder weapons" mod which allowed you to build the Ratte, probably not updated but stuff like that could be funnier then you know....vanilla generic

I think the reason why the USSR can't counterpush in NSB is that Leningrad has terrible rail connections to most of the frontline so once Moscow gets taken half the Soviets' frontline has no supply.
