You should play without any factories, you destroy all factories in your starting country and any other countries you annex. And the only way you get equipment is by destroying other countries. I think this would be quite entertaining and quite difficult. So if you are up to the challenge you should defiantly do this.

If you want to do something like england or soviet union for this, just do it in the 1939 start so that the tech is a little bit more up to date so it isn't as hard.

Do a no troop training run. You can only keep the ones you start with but edit the template as much as you want.

How about a game where you use nothing but the weakest equipment (excluding jets, interceptors, rocket artillery, mobile rocket arty, mechanised, special divisions and nukes) So you can only use great war tanks, basic inf equipment, motorised, basic anti-air, basic anti-tank and such.
