Did you know you can cheese the Soviet Onion achievment by capitulating Finland, taking Ålland, caputulating to the Germans? Because for some unknown reason, they take everything but not Ålland, and when you are on this island alone, and have no borders, and the achievment will trigger.

There's a bit of a way to get the achievement Not Much Fun in Stalingrad. All you need to do is just have the SSR win the soviet civil war and wait for them to rename Stalingrad to Volgograd. Worked when I got it at least although that was a year ago.

you can cheese the Soviet Onion achievement by going Trotsky and making a bunch of SSRs go free and be your puppets but you will still need to invade Finland and annex the Baltics

I actually enjoy focuses off - Sometimes it's worse, but if the plan is expansion. It helps. (The second Japan goes unhistorical, it's unlikely the US will get dragged in.) Only time it's an issue is if you go Yugoslavia and Germany goes Democratic :( Only time I'll go historical is if I know an achievement is easier in it. Ie. That Swedish one to get the Tiger license from Germany. Or the Columbian 20 capital ships one.

When I justify on germany UK guarantees them, so it's difficult to win the war, even so I've won the achievement, but I don't see that I can win the war itself
