"An Extreme Application of Vernacular Architecture: It Could be on Mars"
When we invent technology through architecture we become better at adapting our surroundings to us. In our quest for human space exploration, the creation of habitats that enable human survival could involve the utilization of materials already available in places we explore including the Moon and Mars. This could be an extreme application of vernacular architecture. Let us explore the idea of having a practical extraplanetary habitat. We are collaborators, it will take all of our efforts to achieve permanent human presence beyond Earth.

I’m studying architecture, but his knowledge and intellectual on architecture is beyond anyone can imagine. Definite, he’s a pioneer of architect in our young generation very mind blowing

This is lovely, especially when Bjarke refers to where I used to live (Tunesia) and my research of troglodyte dwellings. Little did I know that sustainable housing research could in some way lead to discovering a potentially viable manmade ecosystem for earthlings on Mars.

If we can build a "Differential Electromagnetic Dome" (only let the Light pass through) that covers the city, then we can build cities on any planet or moon of our Solar System or any other Solar System in the Universe.

yeah, actually maybe is possible to atomic bomb mars on the poles to create a eletromagnetic field, and terraform the entire planet instead of creating a bunker. Look for the video "how to terraform mars"

Is there a book with this analysis of mars, focused on a future habitation idea?

People in the comments are funny. af. He's getting paid to think about these things and actually a build a concept in Dubai. The whole travelling to Mars will never happen but its a fantasy which allows the architect to build a crazy building on Earth lol.

Going to mars makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. We live in an age where we can explore new territory using unmanned spacecraft, that wasn't the case for explorers of the past. We need to keep our mental focus on planet Earth rather than wasting good minds on thinking about a needlessly expensive mission to put people temporarily on Mars before we realise how ridiculous the idea is.
