Unfortunately MMA hasn't become nearly as popular in the black communities in America. Boxing is still much more popular, which is why you'll hear guys talking about dudes humping on the ground and saying "real men fight standing up". Luckily this is changing slowly but surely the more it becomes clear how effective and exciting MMA is compared to boxing.

Israel def has star potential, but I was more just giving him his props in my original comment. Honestly I don't think he can beat majority of the top 10 at MW div. This dude is a stone-cold Beast! I can understand why he said "he gets beat up almost every other day while training." It's because he's constantly trying and developing new techniques to finish fights quicker. @@iam_tenko1213 MMA is still new to a lot of people compared to boxing. it's a new sport and it's expanding very fast. UFC and espn new deal and just the way ufc set up its fights they pretty much have an event every week or every other week and you can actually enjoy all the fights on the card unlike boxing. 236 was one of the best events ever. Boxing is just long you have to wait 2-3 years to see a fight you want to see too much dodging and everyone is afraid to lose thier Zero. you got people like max who don't even care if they take an L.

Been watching the kid tear it up through KB then finding out he was taking mma fights. Then eventually whipped up ufc caliber mma fighters like Melvin.
