The jets that were used in the Six Day War had a lot of ground kills (aside from aerial kills).

the Mirage III has them all beat in sheer numbers. that was quite a plane. the french were onto something when they designed it.

01:10 Not a Mystere! This is a French super-Mystere, color scheme of 1967 war. 01:32 This is a "Saar" = super-Mystere with implanted J-52 american engine. Entered service around 1971 and the color scheme is from the 1970s and after.

Some were for ground attack so number of kills would be expected to be small.

S-199 is Me-109 with He-111 engine. Basically a downgraded Me-109. You can read more on Wiki about it.

The Israelis found that they could get alot of super cheap spare WW2 equipment very quickly a lot of the Middle Eastern countries did the same Sherman’s panzer 3-4s aircraft like crazy and alot of infantry equipment interesting story they bought German KAR-98s and as they were off loaded they were taken out of the crates the nazi insignia was scratched off then stamped with a Star of David then handed to units to fight all within the same day

Never used in air-to-air combat? A good friend of one of my uncles was killed ferrying a Mosquito out to the IDF/AF in the build up to Suez. I observed his memory for my uncle while in Israel for Yom Hazikaron in 1998.

תודה, רוב המכריע של המטוסים הישראלים הופלו ע''י אש קרקע אבל קשה למצוא מספר המדויק. אני יכול להגיד ש F-16 וF-15 אף פעם לא הופלו, פאנטומים הופלו הרבה יותר ממיראג'ים כי הם שומשו בהתקפות קרקע. אבל זה לא אומר שמיראג' יותר טוב מפאנטום.
