😂 America spent $1,5 billion to intercept old-school Iranian missiles with a total cost of $1 million. Without talking about vassals like the British, the French and the Jordanians who helped Israel with the best air defense systems they have, and they didn't stop all of them. We're not talking here about Russian, Chinese or north Korea arsenals, they couldn't defeat Hamas, how can they deal with the rest...??????!!!!!!

Always amazing the information we learn during an interview of Andrei Martyanov! He has an enormous depth of understanding about military matters, with regard to tactical, strategic and logistical matters. His explanations are highly enlightening, and show great insights into the machinations going on behind the scenes , that few of us are even aware exist. I think his assessments of the current situations unfolding in the Middle East, are extremely accurate and on point. With the retaliatory strike that Iran so brilliantly executed , with great precision against multiple Israeli targets, and effectively bypassing some of the most sophisticated air defense systems on the planet, Iran has forever exposed the shortcomings of Israeli military supremacy and invincibility. Israel will never again be able to project the image of superior deterrence, that had existed for all these decades. Iran now has the ability to hit any military target in Israel , when it has the need to do so. Considering that the strike by Iran last weekend in Israel, was accomplished with a relatively small number of missiles, that were of older technology, their ability to cause Israel significant damage in a future attack, is all the more problematic for Israel’s military planners. The paradigm on the ground in Israel has been forever altered. How Israel will respond to this, is as yet unknown. Unfortunately, Israel’s response, could well lead to a widening of this conflict into a wider regional war, with catastrophic consequences globally. As such, this is a very dangerous time for the world. Whether the U.S. or European supporters of Israel can persuade it to show restraint in their response, remains to be seen. Thank you Nima , for inviting Andrei Martyanov back as a guest, on your excellent podcast. We are all better informed after listening to his words of wisdom. You are doing a terrific job, please keep up the good work!

the iranians have been around for more than 2500 years. ancient greeks, ancient romans, babylonians, egyptians and assyrian empires have come and went into oblivion, but iran/persia remains. they know strategy, tactics, war (they lost some battles, who doesn't, but won every war) and how to play geopolitics. upstarts like the zionist entity will also go into oblivion if it thinks it can use its nuclear capability. iran knows israel's nuclear capability and that of its die hard allies, and it will be a gross miscalculation on the part of the zionists to think that iran has not already taken into account this capability of israel and its allies in building its defenses over the past several decades. the iranian strike on israel on 4/13 was a wake up moment for israel and its allies. the ischemic response using micro-aerial vehicles, more like mosquitoes that were instantaneously taken out and blown into non-existence in the sky by the iranian air defenses, which may or may not be directly initialted by israel but more likely done by one or more of its allies should be proof enough for israel and its allies not to escalate its conflict with iran. a nuclear attack by israel thinking that iran is absolutely incapable to respond in kind would be a suicidal decision by the primitive israeli military and its politicians.

Only if you are moderately uninformed. But it is a start. Andrew does not hold back his disgust which sometimes concerns a few of us… his followers. Rather than making bald assertions, more verifiable facts or sources are needed. Having said this, he seems technically more competent than most of his US military castoff peers on this channel. Bear in mind that few western media outlets listen to any of Nima’s guests because that would be a kind of heresy.

Andrei is a brilliant military analyst and doesn't mince his words. His assertion that Europe (including the UK) is irrelevant, both militarily and economically is very accurate. The UK is particularly effete andf irrelevant, with only faded memories of its former position on the world stage to cling onto. Led by incompetent and avaricious third rate nonentities who are busy lining their own pockets and openly encouraging the mass illegal immigration of other countries' human dross who will contribute very little, if anything, to the economy is a recipe for disaster. When I was younger I was proud to be English as I believed we stood for fairness and justice. Today I am more ashamed of what we have become than I could ever have imagined. Those that will make a useful contribution usually choose to follow the international norm of presenting a passport and a work/study visa through established channels. You cannot argue that they are "asylum seekers" fleeing persecution because they are coming to the United Kingdom from France and last time I checked France was not involved in any conflict outside of Ukraine. You say I am part of the problem and I would respond that people like you, people who confuse feeling with thinking, are the problem.

Prescient comments there at the end. Andrei makes an excellent point. Unlike people who can always move, countries don't get to choose their neighbors. You can't just pick up a country and move it if you don't like your neighbors. SO if you're SMART, you'll learn to live with your neighbors, and make the best of it. Nothing says you have to be best friends; you can have an active dislike of someone and still have a professional relationship, so should it be with countries. It's good that Georgia is figuring this out, shame that Armenia hasn't or won't face up to it, let alone the Baltic states of Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia. Poland too for that matter. The visceral hatred, fear, and loathing of the Baltic states railing constantly against Russia and being provocative and insulting, perhaps as some misguided attempt to ingratiate themselves with the West and USA, is just stupid and self-defeating. Finland too for that matter. Russia isn't going to steamroll through the Baltic states and Poland like it's 1939 again... if they did we all know where it would end, and so do the Russians. So does Finland. While none of these countries have to LIKE Russia, they have to learn to LIVE with Russia, because they're right next door and that WILL NOT CHANGE. The USA and even Western Europe are a long way away-- they're now being proven to be inept, incompetent, and unable to deal with Russia themselves, so these Baltic states and the rest relying on NATO for some magical mystical defense is just foolish. IF Russia *wanted* to, Russia COULD roll over the Baltic states in a matter of hours if not days. BUT *WHY* would Russia want to?? Just to incorporate some tiny inconsequential Chihuahua states with populations smaller than some large cities back into Russia at gunpoint?? For what?? To what end? And to risk nuclear war over it?? For what?? They need to get over themselves... like an old cougar prowling around and flaunting her fading charms like she was still some hot 25 year old when she's now 40 and frumpy and out of shape and has wrinkles and spots and sagging assets, these Chihuahua states, and most of Europe in general, keeps prancing around and ACTING like Russia is all hot and bothered over them and just looking for a chance to get in their pants... when Russia is like "you're broke, ugly, and high maintenance and you AIN'T ALL THAT ANYMORE, so WHY would I want to bother to take you in??" Europe is broke, overrun with immigrants, socially collapsing, and economically headed for the ash-heap of history... who in their right mind would want to conquer THAT and add it into their own nation's responsibilities AT GUNPOINT?? Especially when we know it'd end with a nuclear war over it?? It's like saying "yeah, I'm gonna get in a gunfight with her crazy ex over some dumpy 40-something has-been with maxed out credit cards who's a high maintenance mess looking for a younger sugar daddy to take her in..." Nope, no thanks, not interested! What these countries SHOULD be doing is figuring out how to live in peace and harmony with their larger neighbors. Like I said, don't have to be best friends, don't even have to like them... just figure out how trade with them and maybe figure out how to have good relations. That's it. "You do you" kinda thing...
