Our first day in Tel Aviv was a beautiful one! We spent the day exploring the Levinksy Market, the Carmel Market, and the Jaffa Market in the old city. Then we had the best hummus in the world for lunch!! Followed by a gorgeous sunset on the beach. We ended the night with our first Shabbat dinner with new friends! This was our first time experiencing the Jewish Sabbath in another country, and it was a really special night. Thank you again Aaron for having us :)

Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the travel bug! We started “travel hacking” & finally decided we wanted to travel for one year. After 2 years of saving $ and over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016. We started this KZfaq channel to share our experiences with friends and family, then decided we really liked vlogging and traveling! So we extended our 1 year trip to now FOUR years :) Now we have a goal of traveling to 100 countries before 2020! We are incredibly thankful to do something we love every day. :)

@thatbrownboysaifaan it's not the fact that he was killed there. His death was a very important thing for Christians. Before the times of Jesus an animal would be killed to take on the sins of humans in the temple, but Jesus was killed as he was to take on the sins of the WORLD so that Christians do not need to kill an animal anymore. It also marks his resurrection and the holy spirit coming down on earth. Please do more research on someone's religion before trying to belittle it

I feel like Israel would be an amazing place to live. If I was going to move anywhere outside of my home country of Norway, it would probably be Israel. Perfect climate, advanced and high tech, mixed with that Middle Eastern and Mediterranean vibe, great health care and so many historical sites. It seems like Israel is one of those nations that require you to pull your weight and contribute to make it better for everyone. That's a good thing.

@@comradesam5079 lol there are always tensions between Israel and Hamas (there was also when they went there) so I wouldn't let that stop me it's quite usual for us here I lived through a lot of that and I'm 17. There is usually a colision once every couple of years and then a month later nobody speaks of it again. It's insanely complex of course but this is also just a regular part of our lives with it being a holy place for so many different religions and part of the magic is us managing to live through it and co-exist in my opinion :)

Lol at the claim of Israel being the holy land (for the bible bashers at least)......... i guess when the "founders" (actually the founders were atheists & could've created their "holy land" elsewhere, such places as the Seychelles or Uganda for example) demanded land from the NEW OWNERS of Palestine over the Ottomans, the zionists didn't want the Arabs controlling the region so Israel was set up as a loyal little settler state that now governs the region through its military & financial forces........ ISRAEL WAS LATER CAMOUFLAGED AS THE HOLY LAND IN ORDER TO GAIN TROOPS ON THE GROUND ie, so called (fake) Jews who pretend to adhere to the torah as thou shall not steal, thou shall not kill.....
