I do think Israel has the right to defend itself but Israelis have to wake up to the fact that hunger is not an acceptable weapon to use if you claim to be part of the rules-based order. They have to avoid even the appearance of using it. They should really know better.

Look at previous polls determining how many support suicide bombings, Shariah law, etc. Look at how Hamas came to be. If the majority of the civilian population aids and abets to a terrorist organization that has no issue using them as meat shields to support their mission of butchering civilians, don't be surprised when they're treated as the enemy.
