Israel-Hamas: 'Gaza Is Far Worse Than Ukraine' British-Palestinian On His Family Living In Rafah

For the Palestinians in Rafah, an already very difficult situation is looking all the more desperate as Israeli tanks close the border crossing that was the main artery for humanitarian aid trucks to Gaza.
UK-based Palestinian Playwright and Director, Ahmed Najjar is monitoring the situation very carefully because his two sisters and their families are currently in Rafah. He joins Riz Khan from London.

I was surprised to learn that the West Bank, Gaza and Jerusalem have been under occupation for 55+ years 😵, according to the international law and UN resolutions (1967-2023). I've come to believe that justice needs power to enforce it. ⚖❤

The occupation started in 1948 actually the forced 700000 hundred thousand to leave their homes and to Jordan and Lebanon and Syria and Iraq and Egypt.

Really does Russia warm Ukrainians where they are attacking like Israel does the difference is Ukraine doesn't use civilians as shields or voted a terrorist group into government blame your decisions for what is happening.

Racist? The comparison with Ukraine ignores the fact that there was no equivalent to October 7 on the Russia-Ukraine border. Citing racism when other bigger factors are undiscussed is at best disingenuous. Also, why does the interviewee not discuss the tunnels under the civilian areas? Or any reason why the civilians do not contact the fighters and ask them to stop putting innocent civilians in harm’s way? Why are legitimate and reasonable offers rejected? I know the answer to this. So does any military historian who has studied similar situations since the time of Julius Caesar. Thanks to Riz Khan for the interview.
