Israel launches investigation into soldiers killed by ‘friendly fire’

Күн бұрынThe Israeli military says five of its soldiers have been killed and seven injured in a friendly fire incident in Jabalia.
But Hamas has released a video saying 12 Israeli soldiers died.
It's the single biggest loss for the Israeli military since a renewed ground offensive in northern Gaza.
Al Jazeera’s Tareq Abu Azzoum has more on the situation in the north, from Deir el-Balah in central Gaza and Mohammed Jamjoom is in Amman, Jordan for Israel’s reaction.

These soldiers were killed when they entered a house that had been previously rigged with explosives, and upon entering, it was detonated in northern Gaza, and this operation was captured on video published by Humus. But Israel resorted to describing it as friendly fire because this exposes its lies that it eliminated Humus brigades in northern Gaza.
