Israel military withdraws from parts Gaza City, leaving it in ruins

Civil defence workers in Gaza City say they've been recovering dozens of bodies from the rubble of collapsed buildings, after Israeli troops pulled back from the area following days of intense fighting.

Residents who've tried to venture back to the city said much of the area had been left in ruins.
Our foreign affairs correspondent Secunder Kermani has this report, with footage filmed for us by a Palestinian journalist on the scene.
