Israel orders Rafah evacuation ahead of military operation

The Israeli army has warned 'all residents and displaced people' to leave the eastern neighbourhoods of Rafah.
It says they must move to the al-Mawasi area, near the coastline. That's ahead of what it says will be the use of 'extreme force' in the eastern part of the city.
More than one and a half million people have been sheltering in Rafah, after the Israeli Army forced them out of northern and central Gaza.
Al Jazeera’s Hani Mahmoud has the latest from Rafah in southern Gaza and Zein Basravi is on the phone from Ramallah, in the Occupied West Bank.

I've worked with people who would object to walking to their mailbox and back. Yet here we are, expecting 1.5 Million homeless people, mini suffering malnutrition disease and illness, to make their way to the next so called safe zone, which will no doubt become the next target once this latest offensive is over. We have seen many terrible atrocities over the past century, but the fact that this one is being undertaken as the entire western world simply allows it to happen shames me beyond all measure.
