Israeli businesses struggle: Lack of demand and shortfall of workers

The war on Gaza is taking a large toll on small businesses in Israel, leaving them reeling from a lack of demand and a shortfall of workers.
350,000 Israeli army reservists have been mobilised for duty.
And, tens of thousands of Palestinian workers are blocked from entering Israel.
Al Jazeera’s Laura Khan has this report from Tel Aviv, Israel and Stefanie Dekker is in the occupied East Jerusalem to discuss the latest.

According to Gideon Levy of Haaretz, most Israelis are not aware of what is really happening in Gaza due to media censorship and control of the narrative. If they could see, many would sympathize and then the Israeli govt would have a problem. They need their people to be indoctrinated and uninformed.

When you have a conflict that's costing the country 270 Million per day, you can quickly get into a financial hole. Then you remove the working Palestinian labor from the economy along with employed Israeli citizens that are now Reserves fighting (which you have to financially compensate), plus you now have to deal with imports being cut drastically in the Red Sea, you see how quickly this war was a mistake the leadership failed to comprehend.

The peace in Israel was years and years in the making. Nobody is talking about that . And what specifically caused it to roll over and when.
