Under president Biden Hammas must surely feel supported by the American people. There's no direct leadership for or against Israel. Just dithering as usual. But it must surely give Hammas and Hesbolla etc the sense that the momentum is on their side! After the Massacre on October the 7th and the taking of 240 Hostages. Israel has had to retaliate with one hand tied behind it's back. When people don't heed the warning that an area is going to be attacked when they have the choice to go, but choose to remain as Martyrs. There's going to be a lot of deaths. Hammas also dress up as civilians and count their own dead amongst the Palestinian casualties.

Thé measures thé IDF have taken to prevent civilian casualties? Like telling a population to move to a ‘safe zone’ and then bombing them there? Like shutting off food and water? Like snipers shooting children in the head? Like destroying hospitals, schools, universities, homes, civilian infrastructure, indiscriminately. No Israel is not being held to international standards. It is being shielded from those standards and that accountability by the US. Several senior members of the Israeli regime have made genocidal statements in relation to Gazans and their actions are entirely consistent with those statements. They have clearly set out to destroy Gazan society and to make Gaza uninhabitable for its civilian population. Will Israël be held to account? That remains to be seen but past history suggests they will probably get away with their depravity.
