But they survived all these millennia by not upsetting regional powers whether Christian or Muslim. Their places of prayer in Shechem (Nablus) are unmarked from the outside. They are respected by many Palestinian Arabs because they are few in number, no threat to anyone, and keep themselves to themselves, quietly. They are also loved by Israeli Jews (at least by those who know them, like me), they are our brothers.

Religious people will know who Samaritans are,in the past there was conflicts between Jews and Samaritans(there is allot of it in the oral tradition in Judaism),now people are either don't know much or generally positive,after all they are old and small group of people connected to Israel who try to live by in their own unique tradition without troubling no one,there is nothing to hate.

It’s not in the West Bank because the West Bank has not existed since 1967 when the war ended. It’s literally in Samaria - where their name is connected.

Surprised Israelis are so oblivious about themselves.
