The Indian Space Research Organisation ( #ISRO ) celebrated International Asteroid Day, commemorated annually on June 30th. This day aims to raise public awareness about the hazard of asteroid impacts. Dr. S Somanath, Chairman of ISRO, spoke to DD India on #asteriods and takeaway from Sunita Williams mission. He extended his wishes for her safe return and also highlighted ISRO's missions planned for this year.
