I am a dropper and I want to get into ISRO in some years & today morning only I was explaining my mother about the entrance exam for ISRO... Didi what a great coincidence, my mom few weeks back told me your success story of getting absorbed into ISRO through GATE exam and I was really inspired and then I decided that I will also be a scientist at isro, and started preparing for IIST , BTw i am also from uttrakhand. Hey hi, actually the oldest batch in mathematics and computing in iisc is in 2nd year. So we dont know if ISRO come for ditect placement.. you can give ISRo exam though after your bachelors.

To join ISRO you dont need to study you UG in IISc..after your graduation from any BTech college you can apply for ISRO scientist role.. you need to clear the exam and then the interview

No, maths is necessary. You can have biology with PCM but without maths you can't get into IISc even for biology courses

In IISc no… you wont find the kind of environment you will get in IITs.. for hacakthon or entrepreneurship.. because in IISc the undergraduates are very less.. most of the students there are post graduates

I mean if you get a chance to apply for the recruitment just at the end of your masters like it happened for me..then you can directly go from there. otherwise.. your GATE score is valid for 3 years right.. so if recruitment come in between you should be able to do it after masters

Hey hi, this is written on IISc website Discipline: Aerospace Department/Centre/Unit: Aerospace Engineering Intake: 19 Qualification with required GATE paper (in brackets): B.E. / B. Tech. or equivalent degree (with a GATE Paper in AE; CE; CH; EC; EE; ME, XE). Selection Process: Selection is based on 100% GATE score Areas of study: Structures; Aerodynamics; Propulsion; Control and Guidance of Aircraft; Rockets and Spacecraft. So no you cant take admission based on gate cs

😅 it use to seem difficult to me as well at my BTech. But once you get the opportunities for all these it’s not really that hard. I mean yes I worked hard during my GATE preparation but after that these opportunities literally came to me.

Exam krate hain ISRO vale ya toh vo de do.. Ya toh gate exam de do.. dono m hi aap interview k liye select honge.. fir interview basis p selection

Hi mam... I've started my preparation from engineering mathematics and currently I'm studying probability... I'm able to solve most of pyq but still I couldn't solve like 20 out of 50 Is it normal or I should study more ? And also I'm studying probability from last 8 days and I still require 4 to 5 days to finish it So am I pacing too slowly? And one more should I prepare with 2 subjects or only one subject at a time Sorry for long message 👉👈

its okay for now dont stop on a subject if you are not able to solve most of the qsn.. try covering all subjects first.. and after that while revision you can practice more qsns from the subjects you are failing

In iisc how they shortlist students for placement will they consider mtech grades or both mtech and btech grades

no they dont shortlist student for placement some companies have CGPA criterea mostly greater than 7 cgpa is good.. some companies ask for 8

Didi interview is in English or in Hindi

It was in english.. they will expect you to know english.. because not all interviewers knew hindi

u got selected for scientist c position bcoz of master degree or btech students are also eligible??

I got it based on my gate score and only eligibility criteria was BTech. My MTech would have been considered during promotions. MTech people get promoted to scientist D in 2 years. Otherwise it takes 4 years.
