DRDO recruits the candidates through the Centre for Personnel Talent Management (CEPTAM); it is the entrance test for candidates who wish to join DRDO. But for joining isro you have to do M.Sc. Msc can be in Physics, chemistry or mathematics. After Bsc physics you can join as Technical Assistant, ISRO allow you option of part-time/correspondence study, after completing Msc you can get promoted to Scientist-SC. But you may stuck in age eligibility. Age limit for these ... is between 18 to 25.

Ya it's a strange case but don't worry you have lots of opportunities as you are right now studing Bsc, like try getting into IISc u will get real exposure n keen research opportunities.

1)give JAM(physics) and JEST exam after Bsc - you can pursue integrated PhD in IISc 2)give NET and JRF exams after MSc(physics) - you can pursue PhD in IISc NET exam ( for assistant professor post) and CSIR JRF exam along with NET [ you can do PhD in various govt institutions along with fellowship amount for ur research from the government itself,so obviously it's bit tough compared to NET ;) ] 3) try giving GATE exam(physics) right from ur 3rd year of BSc every year !! till you qualify, it's an upper hand - again can do PhD in IISc or top institutes. 4) and later u can definitely give ICRB exam if it permits..

All these exams have somewhat similar syllabus,if you are very particular about ISRO you can definitely make it, but the thing is if u are in a reputed institutions like IISc, IlA or any top institutions around the nation + if you are good at your subject you can get absorbed into ISRO through just interview and one more plus point is u'll have ur PhD and get higher post. You can join DRDO as a scientist through RAC. Nowadays the selection procedure involves shortlisting of candidates through their GATE score, then an internal test by DRDO-RAC and a personal interview. sometimes it is just the interview after the shortlisting through GATE scores. There are other ways also through which DRDO hires its scientists, more details can be found here: Recruitment and Assessment Centre There is technical cadre too for technical officers and assistants, hiring for which is done through CEPTAM. DRDO-CEPTAM organizes annual selection test to hire on these positions and more details regarding this can be found here: DRDO Ceptam 2017 Notification, DRDO Recruitments 2017, Ceptem Results Online & Notice Board you can also join DRDO as a junior research fellow (JRF), though it is a temporary post generally only for 2 years but you will get good exposure of the R&D environment of the country and it surely fulfills your primary requirement of getting into DRDO. To hire JRF’s, DRDO publishes advertisements in the newspapers, generally it is just shortlisting based upon your resume & academic tracks followed by an interview by the project team or a panel from the laboratory which published the requirement. There are other non-technical posts too, but I take the liberty to assume that you are not interested in them. Every year, on average DRDO hires around 50-60 scientists, 500-600 technical staff and a really large number of JRF’s, you just have to keep looking for the openings.

Sir maine ye is wajah se bola ki scientists kisi bhi organisation se ho drdo , BARC ISRO but hum logon ke liye teenon organisation equal hai in reputation 😊

I don't know much about Bio Analytics. But I know that Bio Tech students can join DRDO as Scientist - B. Similarly, in isro you can join but with Bio tech.
