I've got a Sabian Freq crash that's bent in a similar way; it's a mix of hitting way too hard but having the correct technique to not crack it.

I'm assuming these play throughs are prerecorded to the filming because the 57 on his snare doesn't have a xlr cable plugged into it 😂 if its prerecorded its amazing how spot on he can recreate the same playing for the video. 🙌🏻
