Thank you! great video about transportation in Istanbul. Next month, June 2024, it will be my fourth trip to Istanbul, and now finally after i watch this video. I can say that I can move around. In my previous years. it has been difficult because not many people speak English, so very limited what I can ask. Hope you make a video about the new M11 when they open completely. Thanks again.

Hello friend. Also we have some problems we are living in Istanbul the according to Metrobus section European side is Beylikdüzü - Avcılar - Zincirlikuyu and the Asia side is 15 Temmuz şehitler köprüsü - Uzunçayır - Söğütlüçeşme because of Zincirlikuyu is the station with European line.

Turkey like many countries eg Japan etc should have one common transportation card/kart , which could be used in all the cities of Turkiye because a card of one city cannot be used in another city and a tourist loses leftover money from the previous city card he/she has visited. I hope concerned authorities look into the matter. This could save a lot of time, money of the tourist and the hassles for obtaining a card of a new city...🌹☺️

In addition to city cards, most cities in Turkey allow the use of contactless credit cards on transportation lines, usually with a small commission fee.

There are buses from the airport to certain parts of Istanbul. Also, You can go to Gayrettepe by istanbul airport metro and then change to metrobus going to Avcilar. But it is a quite long journey, about 1.5 hours. And metrobus is very crowded in rush hours. Keep it in mind.
