There are two Turkish restaurants near me (one of which is closed down during the winter months) that do pide. Their prices range from £12 to £14. I bought an Ispanakli Kasarli pide for £12. My mother hates pizzas, and when she first came with me to the Turkish restaurant, I ordered a pide and insisted that she try it despite her protests. She loved it. Seeing this video, just reminds me that there is so much to see and eat in Istanbul.

I want to try at this Pide place next time I visit Istanbul🥰Last time I had the best pide from a very small shop in Eminonu market in the corner that sells wooden utensils and steel stuff 🤩.. I still think of that taste😋and I can’t wait to try that next time 🥰

I just love your videos so much and I get to learn so much about this area in Istanbul that I’ve never visited but ever since I discovered you about a year and a half ago now I just want to come and visit so much. I really like your mix of visiting their mosques and then the tourist areas and the food and trying all the different things with us it’s really great to see you thank you so much

Thank you for the wonderful walk through various parts of Istanbul. I know the initial exit from the first mosque to sea level was awkward but the stairs and view around was lovely. The pide looked delicious! It’s nice that the pide baker was from your hometown 😊

The whole Karakoy, Cihangir area is undergoing a transformation thanks to the Galata port project. This neighborhood feels more European/Western in comparison to the Fatih district, I like diverse character of this city a lot.

Of course, all international beverage brands + turkish brands, but i think ayran is cultural thing,, also People prefer ayran to have healthy drink instead of artificial coloured glucose bomb drinks,,, Türkiye has many natural mineral water springs, so bottled mineral water is very popular also (not sparkling tap water)

Ali's treatment of the cats in Cihangir makes me happy for the felines and proud for humanity. The vandals who put the graffiti on the property of others makes me sad and angry. I have been to a few of the spots in Galata, but it was many years ago. Things have changed for the better as I see in this video. Thank you for another very well done video travelogue.
