is your motor stock/ factory? and does the motor scream like mine when you drive faster than 65 mph? haha wow that would be quite a task trying to parallel park eek luckily i dont drive my truck too much just only when i go to my family's large ranch 30 miles away i drive that there so i can carry stuff in the back back . my mom told me she will buy me a new pickup next year i already decided what kind i want a nissan frontier i saw one that was 4cyl 5 speed manual ac / radio and extended cab NEW for just 17k i think ill go with that kind its really hard to find a new pickup with a manual transmission i prefer that snce at the ranch i get stuck in mud sometimes and its much easier to unstuck it with just rocking it with the clutch some . i would prefer a 1/2 ton truck those are too expensive they all start in the low 30s ! i hope your having a good day so far fearfactor im going to have a nappy soon goodnight nice to meet you katie

Haha... Yes it sounds good, I have a flowmaster muffler and straight pipe. I can pickup the truck up too 100 mph if I wanted but I think am pushing it. :-) Right now I just finished removing all the pulleys from the engine to replace 2 seal that are leaking oil. Crankshaft seal and oil pump seal. Now the waiting game for the oil pump seal until Friday. :-) Nice to meet you too Katie. :-)

wow it really really does pay off to be mechanically inclined as yourself i had to pay $1000 to get a fuel pump replaced on my Mustang GT :( wow your truck is fast ! i got mine just up t like 85 before i did that too often and the catalytic converter went out on it :( my pickup had alot of aftermarket parts on it when i got it from a impound auction it has a glass pack muffler & wood trim interior & it also has clear tail lights in the back and chrome bumpers & chrome grill ,ang this chrome trim that goes from the front down part of the door all the way to the back on both sides , i did some minor body work on my pickup mom backed up into it one time so i bought this suction cup dent puller it worked great on the passenger door there was alot of rust so i sanded it down the rust filled it in and used some PPG deltron paint wth a craftsman paint gun to paint the whole door it turned out rather wel the paint didnt run on me . i got rear ended a few years ago i was really really ticked off since i hand wash my pickup and mustang GT every week i usd spray tutle wax and a chamoise to dry im thinking of getting a billet grille for it i saw some on ebay for like less than $70 but um i dont want to buy anything if im gonna sell it n a year or so when i get my new truck im not really sure how much to ask for it has 155k miles its a 5 speed clutch is good , it has very very cold AC and it has the factory radio with a amp 12" subs and 6x9s behind the seat . the body is very nice quite a head turner i get compliemtns on it often wel i need to finish washing some dishes i spent an hour washing alot theyre dry so i put them up and i need to wash pots pans and plastic containers now :( . great talkin to you again , whats your first name if its ok to ask i think i told you already that im katie . bye take care. drive safe !

I used 3" blocks in the rear with a wedge plate and removed 2 middle leaf springs. For the front, I re-indexed the torsion bars.

how did you go about re indexing the bars? how many splines did you go?

@@MeMe-dv6dd I hope you got everything all figured out (a year later), and that the bars are not splined. Loosen the bolt at the rear of the bar, where it mounts to the frame... A little at a time, though.

Yes, I had to shave about 6 metal pops from the wheel hub so it can sit flush on the rotor. Only to the front wheels.
