You cannot claim GST input unless you hire out the vehicles and receive fare towards the hire. You bought it on company name, so renting out vehicle should be in GST registration and you should rent the vehicle to third party and charge GST on hire charges. Then you can claim GST

Hi. Quick question. I am considering this for my personal use to carry cycles for my cycling on holidays. I'm okay with yellow number plate but have two questions... 1. Is it a problem using this vehicle personally within the state, or are there rules like uniform etc? 2. Is driving speed locked at 80km per hour enough for travelling on our highways or will it feel very slow and irritating? Would appreciate your reply as a user of the S Cab. Thanks in advance

Hi ! 1) There is no problem for usage within the stage and you don't need separate licence or dress code for this ! 2) In Highway, speed lock of 80km/hr sometimes become irritating but it's manageable! For city use, it's perfect!

Bro I also purchased this van in up number plate and paid 35k tax for 15 years So please tell me this tax is valid only for home state travel or also other states travel Or do I need to pay any other states tax when I enter in other states?

You have to take other state permit if you are going to other states.

As per Section 17(5) of CGST Act,2017 doesn't permit you to take credit (ITC) of the GST paid on the car purchased in the name of the company.

When he gets yearly audited by CA, he will know GST input cannot be claimed. To claim GST, you should have rental service in your GST registration and you should hire out vehicle to a third party and raise the GST invoice @12% towards the rent received It should be a yellow board vehicle and have commercial third party insurance This entire process is cumbersome unless you have a fleet of vehicles, then you can start a separate firm from which you buy the vehicle, claim GST input, write a yearly rental contract, raise invoice @12/18% GST

Also GST input claim for commercial vehicle with GST @28% is useless. It's feasible for fleet operator who buy vehicle like Innova with GST Input@50%.
