Ironically, I've been thinking of something to do with the AR pistol I built that is now "illegal". I bought a 16" .556 barrel just in case but this seems like a more fun alternative since I already built a .556. The 16" CMMG full uppers are $700+. There are plenty of 22LR uppers out there but not worth the work (cheap but bad reviews). Every review I've read about using CMMG products are they work, confirmed in this video. Thanks!

A person can NEVER have too many .22 LR rifles.....EVER. If you have seven, you need five more. When the internet commandos are crying because they don't have any more 5.56, or 223, or whatever "they" deem as essentials, we, with the .22 LR rifles, and plenty of ammo, will be feeding our families.

At this point, I’m pretty sure everyone that has a 5.56/223 has a .22 LR. Ownership is not mutually exclusive 😂

I stayed with the 16" barrel for my build. Try the better mag insert it works perfect in my Aero Precision M4E1 build.

Take a slow motion picture of the bolt while firing to check for bolt bounce. You can use your smart phone. I did that and ordered the bolt weight and reliability kit from bore buddy.

Dead air is awsome, make sure you look at the rugged obsiden 9, you can run your 22 and 9mm. Or even the dead air wolfman and just change the hand guard. I run my wolfman on my mcx 5.56 as well as my arv-9 and scorpion. Dont sleep on the wolfman.

Appreciate the input, but the wolfman won't fit under the handguard. The mask had a OD of 1" which will recess into the handguard

@@andrewmconrad I was just meaning it's cheaper to buy a midwest suppressor size hand guard , with the wolfman you can run the can on your 300bo, 5.56, 9mm and the 22cal. 1 tax stamp _ 9 month wait for aft approval. I made the mistake of buying a sparrow for my 22/45 and an obsidian 9 for my ar/9 before I saw the newer wolfman. Keep up the videos , I look forward to seeing your patriots games results.

I ended up buying the S&W M&P 15-22 rifle because of my obsession with anything AR and because I assumed they needed to be buffered. Your rig has me thinking twice.

Glad you got that done and are loving it! Def get your can as soon as possible. Hard to believe but you’ll love it even more! Put a red dot on top and you’ll wish you had a lot more mags! FYI you probably know by now those mags suck to load by hand. I got a ‘Lightnin Grip’ mag loader from McFadden Machine and it’s incredible! Looking forward to some Patriot Games footage!!

@@joebauer6570cylee optics are pretty good cheap alternative ive ran it for yrs now on my g17 and its held 0 and performed well under preasures of racking etc and made in usa which is why i purchased it

@@andrewmconrad I am not the most tech user friendly guy, but I love that AR you put together if you would ever think of building and selling one please let me know. I look at the S&W 1522 and Walther Hammerli they didn’t really wowed me. I am 74 years old and would love to have something set up tactically like you. That thing looks like it shoots like my pistol only my pistol is 556. A compensator will tweek the muzzle rise but the recoil is on point with this one

You have to build it. Check out right to bear arms 22 Barrel/bolt combo. Upper and lower are a standard Aero precision but you can use any. then just add a Midwest industries combat handguard
