This is the first time that I've heard of one of these stories where the people actually bothered to say anything at all to the new owners. I get that it would probably be next to impossible to sell properties like this if potential buyers were made fully aware of the property's history but, honestly, I find it more horrifying that the owners don't inform potential buyers, than I find the actual events being retold.

I lived in Ozark Mo for years on HWY W. My girls and I had bedrooms downstairs in the basement. I remember one night I was getting ready to go to bed, the dog had come in from his nightly potty routine and had come down with me to the basement. I went in my room and all the sudden I heard the loudest howl coming from my backyard. Very loud, long howl. Luckily my girls were asleep but my dog started growl and pacing around up and down the stair! We had 3 acres on the outside of Ozark Mo and I was a single mom! I never looked outside, I was terrified and this was before I had ever heard of the Ozark howler…now I wonder what I really heard that night! How crazy!!!

I used to walk my beautiful Rufus late at night. Dogman was around. A young one liked to get my attention. They never bothered me nor my Rufus dog. I eventually told them to go in Jesus's Holy Name, once I realized that they should not be there. They left. I haven't seen hide nor hair of them for over two years. (I have a very good picture print of the young dogman's. My Rufus smelled them. It was my first print pictures I took. Until then I hadn't a clue that they were around.)

Never had reason to fear the forests of Alaska yet I always respected the fact that man is not the Top Apex predator we like to think we are. heres a short story tht happened in same general area, iwas actually in Ozark on this trip with my parents. we were staying at stormy point in branson mo. i was on trip with parents and sisters, my parents and sisters usually going shopping and i go hiking, theres a road called animal safari road that is like a backroad shortcut into town from stormy point. i would have my parents drop me off at the bottom of hill at creek and i would hike to a gocart track about aa mile or 2 upstream. the area is very wooded and hilly, while i was walking down the center of creek looking foir artifacts and anything else interesting a nice buck came screaming through the woods and jumped across the creek in a flash. i could hear what i thought were more deer coming but it wasn't a deer. it looked like a huge black bear but it wasn't, it ran different and was strange looking. i only got a 1 second look at whatever it was but it was huge, over 500 lbs. i didn't get a good look at face or anything else really,, but this story makes me wonder. very cool area ,the animal did not see me by the way,, or atleast i dont think oit did

There is a difference between werewolves and dogmen. Werewolves can shift and transform between their normal human form and their Wolfman form. Dogmen don't shift form. For example, I might be a werewolf typing this and speaking with you in my human form. But late tonight when I go out to the woods I might shift and transform into my wolf-like appearance. If I were a dogman though I would be in the wolf/dog state all.the time.

Thanks, Chris for sharing this story. It should be a wake-up call to people moving into areas they're not familiar with. That's why it's so important to do a neighborhood review before buying a house. I understand that this family didn't have as much advantage before the advent of Google searches but talking to the local police and people in the neighborhood may have shed some light on possible strange encounters as they were trying to decide on what area to live in. I know that a job determines where you live but people can commute to work. When my sister and I were teenagers, our family moved to the country to have horses so our Dad commuted all the way into downtown Seattle to go to work. Since he drove in at 3AM, the traffic wasn't bad back in the late 60s. One thing I hope for this family is they were able to relocate to an area where there aren't any dogman incidents as I heard they can be quite terrifying!

December, 2005, I lived on Pomme de Terre Lake, Missouri, in what was essentially a lake house. So not much traffic there. This one night, it was was around 8 pm, there was a light snowfall, and I love snow, so went outside, in the backyard, to enjoy it. I was standing in the backyard, just to the side of the house, looking up in the sky, admiring the snow, and then I happened to look down, facing the road that went in front of the house. That's when I saw what I thought was an extremely large, white, shaggy dog. It was so large, that I instantly became startled, thinking maybe it is a wolf. I turned to my right, toward the house, to see how far away my fiancé was, to say something, because it was so big, and I was scared. I called out his name, as calmly, and quietly as I could, so that he would hear me, but as to not scare the dog/wolf, I saw. My fiancé immediately heard me and responded "what?", and I immediately responded "look", as I pointed to the road. He looked and said "what?", and I turned my gaze back to the road, and there was nothing there. There was a good stretch of road, there's no way whatever it was could have been gone out of view that fast. I looked up and down the road, left and right, and all around, wondering where it could have went. Then I got super confused. I don't do drugs, never have. Not a smoker, not a drinker. Wasn't on any medication. I was wide awake. I'm not delusional. But I know what I saw, my eyes were on it for a few seconds, as I was momentarily frozen from fear, because it was so big. I told my Fiancé what just happened, what I'd seen. He laughed at me. He didn't believe me. He thought I must be joking, or confused as to what I saw. I wasn't joking, I wasn't confused. It has haunted me ever since. Trying to rationalize it in my mind, I thought, maybe it was a spiritual thing, like the Indigenous stories about seeing "spirit" animals. I looked up what it means if you see a white wolf. I don't remember what I found, but it just didn't seem right, because I don't think I was seeing something spiritual. It looked like a real animal walking by. Also, when I scanned for it, after telling my fiancé to look and then looking back and no longer seeing it, that if it was someone's pet, 1.Where was the owner. I didn't see, nor hear anyone walking by, like you'd expect if they were out walking their dog. 2.What owner would let a pet that huge, out to wander alone. Because I would think it would freak anyone out. Now seeing this video, I am wondering all over again, what it was I saw.

Hi Chris, this was an amazing story. I think these Bigfoot/ Sasquatch are real. In the old days, we did not have cell phones or cameras all the time. So we are seeing more and more in the days of cell phones. It is about time that you had a Blue Moon 😊. Thanks, Chris. Till next time, take care

Yes! New video from Chris! My fave. ❤️ Swear, I noticed your tent walls, and halfway expected some cryptid to grab you through the tent! I saw a video of a dog man on YT, and the speed of it was unbelievable. I mean, a man sees it through a window, runs out the backdoor with his dog, and they flushed it out from behind a tree, and HORRIFIC! I dont know, if it was computer generated; but, I sure hope it was. It was so fast, no human, would ever stand a chance with an encounter from one of these thing's. Great story! 🎉🎉❤

It sounds like a dogman! There are lots of reports of encounters in the USA and some channels on here dedicated to the subject, such as Dogman Encounters. There are too many cases from credible people so there must be something to this. There are also reports in the UK, Europe and Australia too, but not so many.

Another incredible story by a master storyteller! Base Camp Chris has all of the characteristics of a skilled raconteur! He is affable, entertaining, informative and interesting. His stories are not too long, nor are they too short. Truth to tell, while I have spent years in the forests, I've never experienced the type of creatures mentioned in these stories. Once I was nearly attacked by a grizzly bear and that was enough excitement for this individual! Keep up the great work!

I had been trying to move to the Ozarks two years now. The idea that sasquatch was most likely there made me hesitate. This video settles it! No Ozark for me. Chris- Ozark Howler is Not a version of a Dogman. Ozark Howler is NOT Bipedal. They have done searches down there in the Ozarks and it is believed that there may be a type of Wolf that was thought to be extinct from the area. I’m not saying there is no such thing as a Dogman but Ozark Howler is something different!

Thanks BCC, These creatures are everywhere. The description sounds like a Dogman. I had an encounter right here in Southern New Jersey at 2 in the morning...Also LEO's know they exist and I had a conversation with a retired Park Ranger at the shooting range who admitted that Sasquatch are in the area...Dogman in my opinion is much more intimidating...Lord bless
