Yes, The Brothers Grimm - nice comparison. And yeah, when Steven says in response to the kind of dumb "over $10 billion" question in this that he doesn't care about the numbers, that he just wants people to find his films entertaining and memorable, you can tell he's being genuine about that.

Spielberg is the reason why I became a filmmaker. Grew up on Jurassic Park and the Indiana Jones trilogy, this man has been a huge influence on my life, and is my personal hero. Yeah. Spielberg can deliver on so many levels, and he can make movies in almost any genre. And when you put together movies like Jaws, Raiders of the lost Ark, Schindler's list, Saving private Ryan, Close encounters of the third kind and E.T. you get a pretty clear picture on how good a director he really is when he is on the top of his game, though it has been some time since then now.

Some people make movies for money. Others make movies for love. Spielberg has managed to make the movies he loves in a way that brings him financial success - which he uses to make movies for love. Unique artist.
