I have that gear ball and trust me when I say it is amazing... I love it! It's got 13 pieces per side and less movement freedom than a regular Rubik's cube, meaning that the speed is also limited, but it's also fairly difficult.

In the 80s, there were these little hard rubber balls that you could buy from a gumball machine. Those things truly bounced so high that they would disappear. I would always get 2 or 3 of them because you knew that you would lose it after the first bounce. And if it hit another obstacle and did a side bounce, forget about it! 😆

Not from the 80's but I found the hose machines and have 5+ of the small balls and I am keeping them and not bouncing so the don't bounce away.

I think i still have one of them, i used to have many surprisingly because i live in iraq and there arent many things like that here but those were the most fun thing i have ever seen, It used to bounce so high it goes into our neighbors house and we have to knock on their door to ask to get it back 🗿 fun times
