My brother and his wife have a screaming pug AND a howling husky. They live out in the country - I think if they had neighbours within earshot there would be trouble. Such a glorious racket!!

My Pug never did this. She barked. He was a trip. He would get into the bathtub and sit there until I gave him a bath. Lol. Pug's are special. I miss mine. ❤

Yes, he will be the big DIVA and I am scared of what he needs in his comfortable lounge!??? Lot of treats, toys and snacks is the least he can demand. Why not a chicken dinner.........and one eatable flower????

Hilarious. I feel for your neighbours. 😂 Pugs are the best, but there is no doubt that they are high maintenance. I was blessed to bow down to my precious boy for 13 years. I still miss him 6 years since he passed over.

I just adopted my first-ever pug on the first day of spring this year. I am not new to brachycephalic dogs, having had two each of Boston terriers and English bulldogs. But what I am new to is just how chill my pug Marty Feldman is compared to my Boston puppy, who was the single most-hypedractive dog I have ever owned! Fortunately for both of us, he was really little and retained his cute puppy face until the day he sadly died. If he couldn't be kept calm, I would take advantage of his puppy-like appearance and explain to people that he cannot help but be wild and excitable, because "he's just a puppy." But with my pug Marty, he is seven and so chill that there is no need for pretense, he is so well-behaved and chill and has been ever since I adopted him those weeks ago. Like I said, this is my first-ever pug, so not sure if pugs usually are this easygoing.

Last week one of our pugs started doing that out of the blue. We had been gone all day, so I think she was just mad. She’s very needy & obsessed with me. 😂🤣 Pugs are the best!

I had two pugs, they’re gone now. One did the squeal, the other one didn’t. It is a pug trait, just like the way they are known to lower their back legs and scuffle around when they’re excited (dubbed pug-scuddle) and only one of the two I had did that too..
