Oh, you reckon that's bad. Try Mistercraft 042608! CL-13/F-86F Sabre. Missing decals, missing parts, I'll fitting assemblies. Plastics that won't glue together. Unfathomable painting schemes. That's on top of the part raised panel lines, which I can except. Pure bilge! I shall be giving them a wide berth in future. I bought it because I thought it might be different, but I've struggled. It's not quite destroyed me, but not far off and it's taken weeks, and the results are genuinely awful. Good luck, mate!

They are NOTORIOUS for NOT including all the decal options they show on the front of the box.

The Swiss version is the Patroille Suisse Aerobatic team rather than an annaversary scheme......unless they screwed that up too

More like an "agro" hunter....I have a Plastyk boxing and bought an aftermarket decal sheet....then decided a Revell and an Airfix hunter were a better bet

If you ever buy their saab draken kit then you are in for a real treat....NOT....even though the instructions CLEARLY show instalaton of seat,control stick and instrument panel into the cockpit tub...and then installing said cockpit tub into the lower fuselage half it does NOT include cockpit tub,does NOT include seat,does NOT include instrument panel and does NOT include control stick....at first i thought the sprue fell out of the box somewhere along they way or was accidently left out i then checked the parts layout diagram on the instructions NONE of those "missing" parts are shown on ANY of the sprues.

It's not close to a Airfix model ofc, but this kit can be enjoyable. I've made one from Mistercraft and also made one from the older Plastyk boxing which is cheaper and still available. Have to say I used aftermarket decals so I can't say much about those other than the mistercraft ones being crap almost always. With a bit of time and work it can look pretty good eventually.

Mistercraft using a lot of old tools from different manufacturers: this one is probably old FROG, later Novo in Russia . They have as well lot of old Heller/Smer and KP. Manuals have a lot of misstakes and decals not always correspond to cammos in manual. Its a budget old kits so you got what you paid for.

Their mirage iii is good but of course the decals are rubbish. Rebox of the old heller kit. I also found their Su-17 to be alright although it needs some work. Now the F-117... that kit is really rubbish. But I'm gonna try to make it something. Good practice.

I have never built a Mistercraft kit or even owned one but I was once stupid enough to build a Starfix 1/48 (🤣🤣) Spitfire and Bf109.

Have bought these kits precisely because some of them are the FROG kits I remember from my youth. A cheap way to get a dimensionally close kit, with plenty of scope for improvement, and not as expensive as a modern kit, half of which will be thrown away or replaced anyway. This is the modelling the way I did it most of my life. For the modeller who believes that a newer kit is always better, these are anathema. Not for me.

No RAF markings, but Belgian and Swedish.

Typical mistercraft quality or lack of

I have only bought 2 mister craft kits. Both 1/72 spitfires and gave them to charity shops. Never again.

Given that Mister Craft kits appear to be nearly all reboxed . Surely some of the criticism should be labelled at the original manufacturer.

Picked up a few of the mistercraft kits real cheap. I've never built one , I use them for paint testing.

It depemds.i have a number of their kits and some were ok 1 is great and 2 were awful...there is a reason they are as cheap as they are....and their decals are normally rubbish.

Why do mistercraft even exist? Hobby craft should be ashamed to retail these kits

What do you expect for 8 euro? I think you only have yourself to blame.
