The Richie bit at the end will always make me tear up. Such genuine acting compounded by the chemistry between the actors that help carry continuity from child to adult.

At the end with Stan’s letter and Richie carving the initials into the bridge I just broke down. I just want to say, not only are these two movies good horror movies, but they’re amazing movies in general especially with the aspect of friendship. It chapter one is one of my favorites and though it chapter two didn’t quite live up to chapter one, it was still a great movie.

I read the book recently again. I like the movies angle on Richie and Eddie, it actually shocked me and was surprised how emotional I felt. In the book I couldn't find a clear indication they're in love but some chapters did make me think twice. Brilliant film.
