@Johnny LI that would have been a pretty epic twist I can picture it now As my eyes adjusted to the darkness of the room I gasped in shock, the once pristine interior was now disheveled and messy. I had my pocket knife with me I walked into the side room and once again saw the message on the wall as I looked at the message on the wall I noticed something was wrong. Very wrong, not only was the message different at least I thought it was, it had been so long. below the message on the floor of the fort I noticed a dark object lying on the floor. My skin turned colder than the storm that was viciously roaring unusually I put my pocket knife away in my back pocket and whipped out my phone and turned on the light, It was a body lying on it side facing the wall I started feeling sick to my stomach as a nauseating feeling started rising. With one arm I pulled the body towards me causing it to lie flat on its back, at first I was shocked when I found a body anyone would I paused because the face looked very recognizable. It took a minute because it was the body of a 13 or 14 year old looking boy but there was something in particular about this one boy that I had seen before but couldn't pin point who. I then felt like my mind legit just blew up and sadness hit me like a train along with that continuously rising feeling of sickness, as I put the had that wasn't holding my phone with flashlight on to my mouth. The body in this fort above that cursed message was none other than Michael. Not being able to hold sickness in much longer I turned to the side and vomited all over the floor once sickness was gone, sadness and shock took over I burst out in tears. Bawling and blaming myself for not being able to save Michael I still had my phone on and noticed something engraved on Michaels forehead it was a message, terror came rushing back as I saw what the message had said on his forehead the message read "it comes in the storm." I slowly looked up from Michael at the message inscribed on the wall engraved in the snow it read. "The Storm Has Come" came Michaels voice from behind me?! The engraving turned from regular white to crimson red blood, I looked as crimson red liquid poured down from the message I looked away from the message and to where the voice came from. there standing in the middle of the room stood Michael!!! "H-hello my old friend h-how are you doing.." "M-Michael this is impossible it can't be you, your body is right here. You look my age and why is that body I know is you look to be about 13 or 14 and how how are you alive?! I don't know what to say!" "Well anyone would wonder I'll tell you, years ago when you and Michael went sledding and discovered my fort Michaels curiosity level for my fort was high. He really tried not to think about it but he couldn't help it, even know he knew this place was no good, he still one day decided to make it his last time trip to my fort before never coming back. Well turns out lucky for me I had been watching him the whole time waiting for him just to come on a day you wouldn't be hanging out with him I planned out everything and it worked for me, how unfortunate for him" I stood their absolutely stunned and speechless, all these years deep down I knew I was being followed that some evil had latched on to me all those years ago. Now that I was back it was coming to claim what was also rightfully theirs, the way that thing that was suppose to be Michael spoke it sounded impatient, anxious like it had waited years for this moment. I was frozen my blood turned to a icy chill I couldn't do anything It spoke once again "I've missed you, I've been watching you for a very long time, stalking, waiting for the right moment to quench my desire. You may have thought you could just forget about everything, but I never did I've been salivating over this moment for so long and now it's finally come." "before I go I have one question, what are you really" this thing pretending to be Michael let a huge grin on its face "I shall humor you before I take you" the thing smiled and twitched it put both hands on it's face and started hearing noises coming from it, it formed dagger like hands instead of nails, dagger like talons ripped through its boots. It started growing in height to about 7 to 8 feet tall it took it's hands off it's face to reveal a hideous monstrous inhuman creature standing before me with dagger like teeth "are you ready to go" it wondered "wait" I called out "let me just say goodbye to Michael one last time" I walked over to Michaels body and hugged it tears streamed down my eyes and I saw my whole life flash before me I suddenly felt something in Michaels pocket, it was a pocket knife too! I did not know Michael carries a pocket knife with him carefully so the monster couldn't notice I pulled it out and put it in front of me then turned around and quickly put it in my back pocket. I walked towards the monster right in front of it and then it spoke one last time "Don't worry where we are going it will always be winter" Reaching behind me with the sharpest knife I opened my pocket knife up first I had a plan, the creature asked one more time if I was ready to go and I whipped the pocket knife around as I did I yelled NEVERRRRRRRRR My pocket knife drove into one of its eye and it let out a blood chilling shriek as it was distracted I dashed out of the room, and out the doorway of the fort I sprinted in and out of the trees trying my best to avoid smacking into them with the snow whipping in my face. From behind I heard a large cry then the creature taking chase behind me it was much faster then I was and was gaining on me I continued until I got tripped on a fallen tree limb I got up fast but it was too late the monster stood upon me, towering over me inching closing to my appending doom. The beast grabbed me by the collar and lifted me up. I didn't know what to do I lost my other knife until I remembered I had got Michaels pocket knife as it slowly lifted me mouth opening to swallow me whole, I quickly reached into my back pocket and pulled out the knife I opened it and as I got close enough where it was lifting me right by its good eye. I took Michaels pocket knife and jammed it harder into the creatures last good eye it let go of me and let out another blood chilling shriek as I ran to the police station.
