What an awful thing for you to see and for Colby to go thru! I'm Glad he will be just fine! I was 7 and saw Grandpa get kicked in the chest by a cow as the cow was refusing to go into her milking stall! He flew backwards into the wall behind him. Grandpa slumped to the barn floor against the wall!!! It was like slow motion! I couldn't even scream! I was paralyzed in fear! Grandpa sat for a moment, pounded his fist on his chest a few times, got to his feat, and proceeded to go back to milking!!! Well, I ran to the house to get help for someone to look at his chest and "TELL ON HIM for not telling Grandma, IMMEDIATELY". (When I saw him fly thew the air, i thought surely he was dead!! When he got up and went straight back to milking, I was terrified.) Everyone came running. He was fine. No broken or cracked ribs, but many bruises!

We would put cilantro in our salsa and extra garlic to replace some overpowering onions add a little sugar to reduce acidity. Good luck and God bless ya'll!

Misty I'm a retired 40+yr nurse here.Just seeing Colby's arm it looks off.He may need an X-ray! Also please watch for rhabdomyolysis -can occur with traumatic injuries.Praise Jesus is wasn't a chest or head injury.Praying for speedy healing.

I always use red onions and japapenos and habeneros in my salsa. The combo of the two peppers give it such a nice flavor, Thank the Lord that Colby wasnt hurt worse! Amen!

Misty, I know where your coming from, I grew up milking cows. We had a dairy farm. We had a family of 7, 5 children and we all had to milk cows. I know for a fact that all of us got kicked at one time or another but thank goodness nothing seriously. There were several men in our county that did in fact die by bulls maulling them. I'm so glad you were there for Colby! It could of been much worse!! Prayers he gets better soon! Love the Macs!! ❤

Misty on the 14th of June I fell backwards ended up in the ER then Rehab. Not a country club. By the Grace of God no broken bones but lots of bruises. So I understand how freak things happen and glad to hear Colby is ok. He will be sore for awhile. Now I want some salsa. Thanks and Love y'all.
