Yeah , it’s looks like they solved the rotor sealing problem about as good as Mazda , having using their technology , this was mentioned here , note the white smoke coming out of the exhaust , I e , burning oil

In 1976 it was future. The first digitally programmable ignition designed by harald westenberger. I rode 2 examples. Compare it with the later kawasaki z 1300. That six was only slightly bigger tha the van veen.

I hope the new production has some new innovation , just to reduce the weight --- 292 KG dry weight . With full tank of fuel it's certainly over 300 KG !

It's Van Veen and this Motorcycle was real! And the currency at that time was D-Mark. You can easily calculate the Euro value. Just keep money inflation in mind.

Another great subject. At the time it looked so incredibly advanced that the rest needed a long time to catch up. For years it’s failure has been such a sore spot to Henk van Veen that he didn’t want to talk about it at all. Only recently has he softened a bit, doing the odd interview. I once talked to the designer Jos Schurgers, a former racer himself, at a Francorchamps classic race. Even he was not keen to discuss it. After the Van Veen he did however started a successful business producing fairings and police motorbike adaptions. I still have a small Speed 7 fairing lying around which he designed, although it has been adapted quite strongly over the years.

So much of this is wrong 1) Stop using AI narration 2) It's not One Win, it's Van Veen or more likely Fan Feen 3) Comotor was Citroen & NSU not just NSU 4) It wasn't 40,000 euros when it was released - the euro didn't even exist! It was about $15000

I'm not the only one realising the AI voice generator speaking the units of measurement FFS. I hate this. Most people in the comments are so unaware that they think it's an actual person. We are already heading down a rabbit hole that none of us wanted. And yet here it is mainstream consumer grade AI conditioning. Soon they will adjust the AI algorithm and it will stop speaking the units of measurement and it will eventually learn not to do all the things that only people who are intelligent enough to notice; then what? Be an ostrich? Fck sometimes I wonder if ignorance is bliss 🤔

Ok the voice narrator sounds legit, however the speech and speaking the units of measurement tells me this narrator either is stupid or this is just a really good AI voice simulation.

This is a well done AI video. But it's still shit just because I know it's AI. Yes someone still programmed the AI to write and narrate the script...... What you couldn't tell? Your likely the one of the first to be displaced by AI in the workplace congratulations
