Dude... this is definitely the most informative video series on OAHS I've found. So cool you've documented your journey for us! I've been working on the OAHS for longer than 3 years, but I didn't take the training seriously enough for a while and was just doing it sporadically. I think of it as teaching the shoulders to function like the hips... which takes A LOT of work.

First of all good job on the OAH! That's strong. Keep us updated man. I'm currently working on cleaning up my handstand, especially opening up my shoulders more and also getting towards a 30 second tuck hold.

Congrats! I've started the OAHS jorney in 2018 January, but progressed slower. Right now I'm in your 2019 October form, starting to get those 3-5sec holds, with the max of 9sec. Its really good to realistically see all the stages of the jorney, otherwise you're constantly stuck in this "almost there phase" which is a hotbed of frustration. Thanks for the entire ROAD to OAHS series :)

Awesome.. Really nice to see people finally getting it. By the way just an advice. I've got oahs after 3-4 of training and what I've noticed (Probably you know this already) balance is really affected by the way your free arm is moving. you can actually balance more easier by the way you move your hand :)

After a shoulder injury, I'm working towards my handstand again. Got some holds here and there but not as consistent as it was. Working towards v-sit again which I also lost. Splits, front and middle. Middle oversplits cause I can do them easily in the floor. And ofcourse, Planche. Thanks for the motivation! Keep safe!

I've been training a one arm handstand during lockdown. I think you made it clear that even though it feels like I've made some progress, I'm still nowhere near. Some of the prerequisites are an issue for me... My current progress is popping up onto the fingers, holding a second or two, and moving to the other arm, and back to the middle before falling ideally. Felt good to achieve, but my straddle is nowhere near yours, my shoulders are not open enough, I physically can't get into a 7 or stalder press (I can't move from the bottom position, unless I bend my legs and my arms which negates the point of the stalder press). Oh, and my shoulder endurance is awful, I can do power moves, once well, maybe twice with bad form.
