it's pretty obvious that Bobby really tries his best to distance himself from girls. I don't perceive his action as being awkward or shy towards them, it's more like he's being careful around them. And the only time a guy acts this way is when he has a girlfriend. I love me some loyal boyfriend ❤

Sometimes male idols are that way because their company doesn't approve, or they don't want to get hate from the "fans" etc.There are more than one reason why guys may act that way; NOT just because of a secret girlfriend. If he did have a girlfriend; than it is good that he kept some distance. Also, didn't all of them swear/promise not to flirt with the other students on this "school trip"?
