Don’t worry about editing videos, cutting wheat always comes first.

I thought you were just bored there when you were on auto steer but as you explained you are tired.Seeing your harvest videos gets me excited about our own harvest. About a week away here in central Kansas. Thanks for the video.

Long hard days is what it is all about. Some of the wheat looked like it was more than 30 bushel per acre. With storms coming you got to get what you can when you can. For the most part this has been quite a bit better than last year. Be safe and good luck.

Many years ago when I was much younger and dinosaurs walked the earth, I remember my father harvesting in to October, here in UK in those days harvesting into September was pushing things a little, they had no cabs and worked in heavy coats and late in to the night, the grain was starting to shoot and had to be dried and was only good for cattle feed. As for hours, untill recently I worked for a recovery company, it works differently in UK and we regularly worked twenty plus hours a day on emergency rescues

Im with your mom on the snakes, hate them!!! It looks like its making way more than 31 bushels to the acre around midnight. I know you get sleepy just rolling along in the combine. Eat crushed ice if you can!!

If your crew would cut in rounds around the field instead of back and forth could run more machines together. Round and round is way more efficient any way but cant use auto steer

@joescheller6680 …you never utilize your whole header cutting without auto steer. Not to mention, your grain cart has to run literally in circles to keep everyone going. I assure you the way we lay it off is the most efficient, no matter how many combines are in the field. The only reason he said we were not going to pile multiple combines in one field is because the fields are not big enough to justify all of the combines. By the time everyone got headers put on we would all cut for a hot minute before we were all having to pull headers off again. We could all accomplish more to split up. Also- constant turning in circles with the header down is the death of your gauge wheels! Not to mention the wheat you lay over turning on it.
