@@DeepDeepSpace Before we encroach this subject, lets rewind to 1998 and a statement by Emmanuel Steward about the quality of Lennox Lewis's opposition-"Lionel Butler was on drugs, Oliver McCall was in and out of rehabilitation with drug and booze problems when Lewis accepted the rematch and Tommy Morrison was receiving HIV treatment and went on drinking binges before his fight with Lewis." Mike Tyson admitted he was ALSO a washed up drug addict in 2002. The fake Lewis also waited until McCall was messed up before he went near him again. Lewis will most likely go down as one of the most intelligent, calculated champions ever. Lennox was able to capitalize on Tyson's jail term to reign as champion, then got out before the Klitchko brothers could undo the legacy he has manufactured for himself. He stayed an extra 4 years as an amateur to win a gold metal against younger opponents (Riddick Bowe for the medal bout). He then became champion only because Bowe gave up the title. He backed out of Tyson's way (accepting a huge multi-million dollar payoff from Don King as payment for Tyson taking his ranking) as he was climbing back up to regain the championship that was handed to him. I believe that history will judge him for the fake that he truly is.

Wilder will never get his weight up. That's as big as he'll ever be, truth be told. His frame ain't built to just add thirty-five pounds and be fast and powerful. If you ask me, they need a division for two hundred to two-fifty. Anything over that is unlimited. If you ever fought a dude that much bigger than you for more than sixty seconds, I think you'd agree. That shit is TIRESOME lol, your fear isn't getting knocked out. It's gassing out.

WILDER is 6'7, the dude ain't small, he just has skinny legs, WILDER could have EASILY put on 20 to 30 pounds and be at 240 with his frame. WILDER isn't very smart. ZHANG is also not very smart, ZHANG is overweight and came in at 282 pounds, when he should have come in at around 260 pounds, at 280 pounds ZHANG can't even throw more than 6 punches a round without getting tired. GEORGE FORMAN 6'4 260 pound when he fought HOLY FIELD 208 pound. GEORGE was too slow and got tired in that fight and HOLY FIELD WON EASILY. WILDER'S PROBLEM IS HE CANT BOX.

Yeah 214 is pretty much barely a heavyweight. He can still win though but naturally even as powerful as his punches are, a guy who weighs 260-320 pounds is a different kind of freight train coming at you. If anything low 200s guys who weigh 200-220 may as well have their own division "medium heavyweight" or something. But obviously Mike Tyson back in the 80s did fine, I don't think we've seen a small heavyweight champion in a while though. Being 6'7 also gives you good length so there's that aspect as well, but that doesn't matter much if it's a 6'6 guy vs a 6'7 guy

Before we encroach this subject, lets rewind to 1998 and a statement by Emmanuel Steward about the quality of Lennox Lewis's opposition-"Lionel Butler was on drugs, Oliver McCall was in and out of rehabilitation with drug and booze problems when Lewis accepted the rematch and Tommy Morrison was receiving HIV treatment and went on drinking binges before his fight with Lewis." Mike Tyson admitted he was ALSO a washed up drug addict in 2002.

Wilder gave us excitement over and over! The Luis Ortiz fights were exciting and the trilogy with Fury was exciting. Even the fights with the less skilled opponents were exciting because Wilder crumbled them too with one powerful punch. Wilder had the great eraser that could erase plenty of mistakes.
