Literally just ran into this problem the yesterday, funny thing is it was one guy and when he kept asking the leader to kick me they kicked him instead LOL.

When i saw people getting SWP gear for utgarde i knew it wasn't wow that changed , it was the players.

raid leaders actually be spamming for 2 hours straight looking for that BM hunter for the 3% damage aura just to kill the boss 5 seconds faster

I'm quite convinced you could clear Utgarde Keep with half your gear broken.

The fact that this is a real thing is fucking insane to me. Especially considering one of the main points Blizz made about not including LFD was that it encouraged a toxic environment. ***eye roll***

This literally happened yesterday. Went into Utgarde, 2 SWP geared guys join the group, we never said we would do spam, just a single quest run, they start flaming us for being meme geared.

Yep, this definitely is the state of current classic. Everyone trying to min-max a 2008 game where people ran compaq presacio hardware from 2000. It's a shame that people think they are method instead of just enjoying the game. Oh well, at least when I join groups, I stick to groups with the expectation that min-max isn't a requirement.

Was WoW always like this? I remember playing 15 years ago and it seems like a whole different playerbase and mentality now. Even with RP servers, nobody seems to actually RP unless you specifically set it up. People used to live and breathe that game man, they were (mostly) always so kind and charming. Maybe I just have nostalgia memory, who knows.

Did Utgarde Keep as Disc Priest yesterday with the first gear you got when reaching lvl 70 in TBC. Healing was no problem at all except for my mana pool being a little small at times. I think it's us, the players, that should start spreading positivity like it's 2008 again

A billion times this. Takes me back to vanilla classic where some people proved you can kill Onyxia naked but at the same time there was no guild that let you in if you didn't have raid gear and went for all the world buffs.

In TBC I found it funny when the boosted player weren't taken into dungeon, it made sense at least a little that the original players didn't wanted to play with some quits in 2 weeks bought 58 boost chara that did litterly less damgage when the tank (before tanks did lots of damage) but wotlk is actual insane, it only happened once to me but I'm still stunned by the fact that the gear requirments already start with leveling dungeons, I don't mind going fast and knowing my class to do so, but the insanity some people have is dumbfounding. Edit: because people apparently miss understand my gear is still good enough that I haven't had any updates yet with lvl 75, so no greens only epics and I still got called not good enough even though I beat gladiators in DPS meter 2nd Edit: it only happened once to me by the way, I just found it crazy because in tbc that would only happen to freshly boosted character in green gear

The craziest thing about this video is a rogue being invited to a dungeon group.

I experienced this myself. Im the tank in a UK group. I invite a warlock, and a Holy pally. The pally says to the group "im not healing this" "the warlock only has 4.5k health"...and left the party. I understand the lock was a fresh boostie but the rest of us had fine gear. The lock even did pretty good dps considering...

This actually happened to me. Wanted to do Nexus for the quests. Joined group and kicked for not being full brutal.

Yesterday we were just casually doing wailing caverns, one of the guys left after second boss because he was bored or idk. Then the tank, his friend also left and we had to do only last boss. So we were there me healer and my friend dps and some warlock who was also about to leave. Persuaded him to try tanking it with voidwalker. Ended up finishing the dungeon in 3 without tank.

WoW’s community honestly makes the League of Legends community look nice and welcoming. It’s a shame that one of the best games ever made has such an awful community.

Some guy on my server said "not inviting ppl with greens or blues" the whole LFG chat flamed him and boycotted inviting him to any groups that evening.

This is so true!😄 When I started on TBC many centuries ago, we did one dungeon all afternoon and there was so many wipes because we had no gear. But it was fun with friends. And now people from Shadowlands “speed runs”are in WOTLK and that game is not the same as before. So GL😊

In Wrath leveling is a huge part of the experience. If you rush it or try to get past it you're massively screwing yourself. Unlike vanilla there's no "ahead of the curve" since fully gearing a character at 80 takes like a week so you'll basically just have nothing to do.

Best part of it is that PvP stats like Resilience and Penetration, as long as some gems, are useless in dungeon, so he is technically the best geared in the group.

This seems to me like spending time driving in a parking lot for a close parking space. In the time it takes to find one you could park slightly farther away and get on your way. Same thing here. In the time it takes to find a player with the ilvl requirement you can probably just do it with whoever

I’m not sure what the deal is with this expansion but I’ve run into more assholes in 2 days in dungeons than a proctologist sees in a month.

My only problem with this video is the last character at the end isn't briefly shown with his sword and shield put away. What a cool combo - they need to add more back-sheathing swords to the game. I think that essentially ended with the addition of monks.

No joke, when I was playing Classic during the first few days...I had some guy tell me that Deadmines was an IMPOSSIBLE DUNGEON without multiple CCs and using glitches to fight VanCleef. He refused to invite me because I was a paladin, even though I was level 19. Needless to say, I got into another group with like 16s-18s (and no CC or glitches to speak of) and we cleared it with ease. Some people are so full of themselves it's insane.

Just yesterday did a couple nexus and utgarde runs as tank, I made the groups, first nexus was a geared and chill lock and some othet randoms, boomkin left us because lock died once because too much threat, "we'll never kill last boss" so after he left, we cleared dungeon. In utgarde we bea it with guys in questinggear carried from tbc, couple single deaths maybe, but thats it. People are crazy man

This is one of the reasons why i quit WoW. If it happened couple time its not that big of a deal but when this happens 8/10 times its a game changer. It was said that this behavior is a product of M+ system where everything has became a speed run and unless you have BiS gear they wont take you and it moved to every aspect of the game.

I've run utgarde keep in shit greens about 25 times now across the chars I levelled through outlands quick with the exp boost so far and I've never seen this or heard of it happening, it must be a PVP server thing.

Lol, stuff like this happened to me too, while looking for halls of reflection group, i had decent gear and gear score, and got kicked because i didnt have a "high enough" gear score, the requierment they told me was in the ballpark for icc at the time

This happened to me yesterday. Lvl 73 ele sham in full brutal, enchanted and gemmed since I got my full s4 set halfway through the season. It was for old kingdom….

Insane how accurate this is. I ran the nexus with my Mut rogue and everything died so fast I barely got to spend my combo points then as soon as I exit I saw people requesting full brutal for their group.

This is one of the reasons which I prefer to set up a group myself and not wait for someone to made it. If u want things done u have to do them yourself.

The only difference is when u were 15 u did it with alliance, now you wanted to do it with degens

Ye shame my guild group needed a dps , we were full swp and brutal I invited a warlock that was" normal" geared for the level greens and things, shame the dude was so nervous he was going to get kicked , kept on saying sorry we were like dont worry we over geared you are fine xD

I remember going from EverQuest Online Adventures to WoW way back, i made a video on this in like 2011 lol, i bitched how badly i was treated for not being well geared, and how nobody even attempted to explain, or help. The difference between the two communities was night and day. In EQOA people would literally stand around waiting to help newbs with invis, speed buffs, getting them coaches for easy transportation (basically flight path) we had a GUIDE PROGRAM, etc, etc... to go from that to... this f'ing abomination of a community is infuriating to say the least lol. But the core gameplay of Classic is still good fun. Have to try and find the right oldschool people i guess. . . and pray they don't devolve into generation Silicon Valley Spreadsheet.

I ran a few instances (still 72!), and whenever I'm looking for a group, in a channel or group finder, I always specify "chill group, no minmaxing BS pls! :D" Usually i go for quest, or help guildies, so far, all good. Hope I'll avoid those at all costs.

That is why this "from beta" wow player wont play wotlk classic. Lvl zerging, gold farming and gear discrimination is the only game in town... It's not fun anymore to revisit, since it's just min/maxing for 1-6 months and then a "I am bored" attitude... My original wotlk experience was slow exploration and community... Most of these "tiktok attention spand is 5 minutes "classic players are burned out in months...

So accurate xD. It happened with my Druid resto, cause I had a Boosted character, they kicked me. I went with another group, less geared than that one, and everything when smooth. One of the guys asked me at the end “how is it that u never run out of mana?” xD

First group I joined. "I'm DPS. May I join?" "Are you a boosty?" "No." You have joined the party. You are being summoned. Accept summon. You have been kicked. You are now being ignored.

I remember being on my warlock, being really undergeared for HC, lowly grinding up to it... But there they were, a 4 man group looking for a dps and they said to me, hey wanna join? Don't worry about your gear or damage, and all the usefull gear that drop is for you..we don't need any of it. We are just here to have fun. And this happened multiple times. Those were the days! Yes, there are still people who play ike this. But the min maxing style of playing is more the norm now. And i hate it.
