@@kensmith5694 Yes, lots of birdsong lately. I saw two lorikeets yesterday. Also, the lawn mower started up quite loudly the moment I started making this, but I managed to record during a quieter moment when it was a bit further away.

@@UkeCan1 For you it is fall. Some birds that mate for life get quite verbal just before they migrate away. In very warm places, they can nest again at this causes them to sing to proclaim their territory. Around where I am, I think some birds do things based on the rain. We get our rain in the winter mostly and some plants take that as their cue to do their thing. The "golden hills" of California are really just brown with grass that has finished for the year.
