I was 16 in 1992, and circulated petitions for Perot. Loved him before that, love him to this day. Here's 2 problems for independents: 1..)Americans can't compute more than 2 choices -- and even that is debatable. 2.)Independents are like vegans - never happy. So if an independent candidate - has a *real* chance at winning....who is ready to support him - IF he's oppose of you on abortion? Gay marriage? Taxes? Wars? Eventually, Americans take out their little "issues" checklists and pretend they are discerning voters. "waaaa I don't like what he says on health care I can't vote for him"....well good, vote major party and ask yourself - why don't the problems ever change.

@@yournamehere9024 There was an economic recession. It was not Bush's fault but people blame the President. Bush was viewed as out of touch and Clinton kicked his ass. Bush lost not due to Perot, but due to being s shitty out of touch candidate - he was a republican Al Gore. Good. It was kinda nice - no wars, strong economy ---fun decade.

@@conversationfrequency570 I hear you. But media controls it. Americans don't have critical thinking skills for a 3rd choice. The ones that do - become vegans because they'll show interest in a 3rd party and then say "oh no. I disagree with him on an issue" and reject him. Then the others will be tricked into "dont waste your vote" - - hence they Sheeple get 2 parties. In a few years they'll be sending their kids to WW3 ..... too bad.
