@radiojingles Oh I have no doubt that it won some kind of incestuous industry award like Promax or something - Most of the music houses' owners and employees are generally on the awards committees. Sadly, an industry award doesn't really prove that a piece has any artistic or measurable business value.

Vieira, Couric, Curry and Roker all attended a "roast" of Matt Lauer in 2009 at New York City's Friars Club with members of the press core in NYC, celebrities, journalists etc etc. This gathering (closed to the public) centered around Lauer's "presumed" raunchy behavior and many affairs--supposedly all in "fun"--the reality was everyone at NBC/Comcast knew exactly what Lauer was up to and didn't speak up because the money/ratings kept coming in at "30 rock" and they didn't want to do anything to disrupt that. For them to now say in 2017 that they didn't know anything about Lauer's behavior behind the scenes is simply lying--plain and simple
