Zuzu Bailey was named for a particular brand of cookie: Zuzu's Ginger Snaps. That is why George calls her "My little ginger snap".

Actually, they didn't. The Bailey's didn't need to ask for anything. Their friends heard George was in trouble, and they donated money without asking questions.

Maj. Gen. James Stewart then Colonel USAAF first movie he did when he came home from the 8th Airforce, ETO World War II. I to this day think it's one of his best Muffin and dittos to Frank Capra.
