Uhhhh...you're doing KZfaq ALL WRONG. Where is the coffee-making b-roll... where is the shot of you walking into the studio... where is the absurd 4 minute intro about why you're making this video. Kidding of course - thanks for such a concise clear video - pure gold - keep up the good work!

My 10 year old canon T5i with 1080p 30 video recording capability at 4:2:0 8 bit h.264 with 11.7 stops of dynamic range (probably closer to 9 or 10 in practice) begs to differ lol. Of course lighting is more important but there has to be a minimum performance threshold that your camera must reach first. I definitely need a better camera.

Thanks, I just subscribed. Good clear concise content and no BS or filling. Control of light is clearly at the heart of improving your visuals. Subject, set, framing or composition are important too. Perhaps, like a chain, the end is only as good as the weakest link. Story, sound, appropriate movement (subject and camera) and tight editing as well. There is much to learn and hard for anyone to be good at all/most disciplines - perhaps why the best work is usually a collaborative team game.

There is barely any info. No focal length. I decided to look at other of your videos and saw the same thing. Explaining how you make your b-roll, but say nothing about the most important b-roll element - the movement. Did you use crane, gimbal, slider, 4 axis pan head and so on. If you wanna gain traction, you must go deeper bro :)
@maxsautner9 ай бұрын
The video is not about the camera or lens, but about the difference when you work with lighting. In the B-roll video, I actually mentioned all the points you wrote down... 😄🤷🏻♂️
