You have to use this method with your writs to start chipping the golf ball better! Find that crips noise and that ball strike with spin all the time using this method. Are you a golfer that finds it hard to strike a short shot whether that be a short chip or a 50 yard pitch? Does this shot usually end up knifed and thinned or even duffed in front of you when playing on the golf course?
Use this wrist motion when chipping and pitching to stop blading and chunking chip shots out on the golf course. This is is the most simple and natural way to chip. Keep it simple and try this chipping wrist method now!

It was one of my best rounds in a long time , I shot an 83, 39+44 from the third level tee boxes and being 72 years old I could have used the next forward tees. Love all the AE tips and have definitely made a difference👍

The other morning, I went to the range and had a conference call for work while I was there. Was doing some chipping practice but ended up needing to hold my phone with my left hand and decided to keep hitting with my right only. I’m usually terrible with my chipping from around 20 yards and in, especially when I get within 5 yards of the green. Blading. Chunking. Stressing. More blading and chunking. Nightmare. But as I was on the call hitting one handed, I realized I was getting a smooth and repeatable movement, and the ball was coming off the face consistently well. I’ve used the one handed method when I’m playing a bit. Now I’m trying to figure out how to get my left hand back on the grip without it taking away that looseness and smoothness I feel when I’m swinging with the right only. Thanks for making me feel like I’m not insane hitting one handed.

Hello Brian! I think it’s great when we just do this naturally and don’t really think about things. This has to be the way for the entire game that is for sure

I brought a garmin s40 when golf re started last month, I've always just worked my yardage out from the markers and to be fair I was fairly accurate ish. However now I have this watch I realise how much of a benefit it is to be bang on and sure of yardage and its definitely saving me shots. Couldn't play without it now🤷‍♂️

Hi Alex, thanks for the video. I have a question: for the chip shots, what club are you using? Your wedge looks a bit longer than standard? Looks more comfortable to me. I'm taller, at 6' 3", and am getting fit for clubs tomorrow, and I'm curious about adding a bit of length to my wedges. I feel like with my normal off the rack wedges, I'm bent over them too much. What are your thoughts? Cheers, Ryan.

I use both a Bushnell and a Garmin S-20 watch. I like to get the distance to the flag and the back of the green to see how much room I have for roll out.

Nice do you prefer a laser or a watch?
@bobbyk3469
@bobbyk3469 3 жыл бұрын
@@AlexElliottGolf I prefer the laser, but I can use the watch to track the distance of each iron. Helps with my gapping. Most of us don't have access to a GC4 or Tracman so I find this is the next best thing.

Every single club and every single shot - except putting - needs wrist action, so the club head releases, turns over and gets the ball up into the air. Without that wrist action, you’re gonna have a lot of bad shots. You’re gonna have some not so good shots once in a while, but if you work those wrists, your worst shots with that will be much better than your worst shots without using wrists.

So frustrating.... Have had the chip yips almost a full year now and just when I think I've FINALLY nicked'em they rear their ugly head at the worst times ever and just destroying great rounds for no apparent reason... In practice I use the one handed method often abd can do quite well with both hands individually but when both hands are on tht grip together at the same time it all goes to sh..
