not enough water in the boiler. never let the water lvl drop, always check the water lvl as well. the sequence is: check track, check temp, check water, check fire ... repeat...

Thought i actually felt the shockwave of the explosion for a second, then realized it was the thunderstorm that went boom boom at that exact moment. Noise canceling headphones are great but kinda freaky given the right circumstances. I'm outside and can feel the ground shake.

I think my favorite part is how quickly the tender leaves the loco in the couple of seconds after the explosion. "Nope nope nope nope nope nope" growing quieter in the background as the steam loco's tender gets farther away.

Water water water. I volunteer at Heritage steam RRs you need to keep water in the boiler so the flue sheet doesn't melt and the boiler won't kaboom

The reason is because of no water, I think. I could be wrong but I’m pretty sure the boiler exploded because of no water.

Only been playing the game for a day. Couldn't manage to get out of the harbour with a 270t load on the DE2.. 😅😅 then later tried hauling 870t with the SH282 and kept sliding back down the hill. I have much to learn o great master
