Couldn’t you build a room in the barn to store things until you can build the shop. Later you can use it to store things for animal care.

The grass looks soo good, growing quick! I remember how excited we were when our small spots starting growing, so exciting! It’ll be nice when it’s full. I’ve got some spots to re-seed yet. We used shock collars to train our dogs and it worked really well, after a few shocks they did learn to stop From the beep (we didn’t have birds at the time tho), I hope it works but if not you can’t say you didn’t try. The fact that you saved them to begin with shows your character. I know you’ll figure it out 😊👍

Would you consider putting down clover seeds? Its great for pollinators, doesnt grow too tall or need mowing down often, animals love it, and it makes great ground cover too! :)

4th lol Y'all need a rain gauge, seriously so U can keep track of the rainfall amounts. Here in Western IL over the past 10 days we have had 6+inches of rain. Yard is soggy but the garden is taking off like gang busters. Tater Plants already a foot tall for the 1st 4 rows planted. Picking romaine and red leaf lettuce every other day. Onions are close to 10 inches tall too!

I know it can be hard but if the dogs are getting after your birds then either keep them penned up or get rid of them.

Danielle you guys want to get that grass to really thrive and grow fast spread seeds spread some top soil over them seed water up softly watch grass grow like crasy stop wasting seeds to birds and water runoff once you cover seeds with topsoil and water its a process for grass to grow

Don't you have a small tiller, landscape rake, or a small harrow to pull behind any of your small farm vehicles to loosen up the soil before spreading the grass seed. The grass would probably have an even better rate of growth for you.

put an invisible fence around your turkeys and chickens and put shock collars on the dogs and shock the dogs. I had a dog that love to bark and I put a shock collar on him and it shock the crap out of him. he quit barking.
