I agree Murtasim is a man of morals and great understanding of relationships, he so clearly says his thought, not shying away from saying what he feels. Meerab definitely is swaying into his love. His conversation regarding Mard Aurat ko muqamal karta hai, was so much needed where people said tere Bin is mocking Nikkah.

You are comparing a basic masala drama which clearly is inspired by mills and boons and Gul Khan dramas to Shakespeare's play 🤣. Tere bin is not that deep and it's purely for entertainment and there isn't much deep going on in this drama.

@@vp98215 plays are plays. People who can't read beyond the lines about the depth of characters can't relate. For me Murtasim does have layers. He's egoistic, he's used to the ways of his usual life and traditions yet a softie at heart. He's got his own set of values and principles. And Meerab although appear all just and fine, but she's got that haughty superior attitude that makes her think she's always the right one. People clashing based on their egos and set of values is something deep for me. Haya has been given a darker shade of character but is presented in a manner of a jester. She's not that usual vamp. She appears funny to people on screen. And Maa Beghum is not the stereotypical mother in law, she doesn't fits in that either good MIL nor the cruel one. She's balancing it well. So for me Tere Bin is all about characters and they're personalities that make them clash. And Shakespeare was all about these characters who viewed life differently.

@@editsyouloveee murtasim is like any other starplus male lead in a rom com Hindi serial. Tough on the outside but soft on the inside. Half of the scenes don't go with the characterisation given to them. Murtasim is supposed to be an angry young man but a good guy. Then they show him randomly slapping meerab and then romanticise that scene. He goes around searching for meerab all night and worried for her but the next day makes it all about himself and his izzat. His worries and pride became bigger than the girl who was kidnapped. Maa begum on one hand says she is happy as long as her son is happy and don't mind being second in his life but makes a fuzz when her newly wedded son don't pick up the call in the middle of the night. No mother in their right mind would be mad if her son don't pick up her phone while he is alone with his wife at night. Meerab is supposed to be this strong independent open minded girl who wants to study law but is now her sole purpose is to irritate the shit out of murtasim for no apparent reasons. Haya is a psycho. So whatever she does can be justified. She is also like any typical jealous second female lead who don't have any valid reasons to be obsessed with the ML and has no self respect.

Not every drama needs to be realistic There are love stories that are not realistic much .. It's fine, it gives us pleasure some people will said guilty pleasure, that's fine, we are enjoying.
